VR headsets have taken the gaming world by storm; it’s the next level up in immersive experiences, and you no longer have to rely on surround sound and a small room to give you the feeling of being inside your game. There’s no better style of computer game than a first person shooter release to enjoy the benefits of VR and to feel that adrenaline pulsate through your body. If you’re into high intensity, fast-paced games that need quick reactions; the following first-person shooter games should be ideal for staying in during fall and winter, and each will step up a gear with the use of a VR headset.

Destiny 2

Perfect for the online crowd; Destiny 2 is not disappointing players with its story and all the extra gear that’s available in this multi-player hit. There are plenty of milestone activities; including the raid, Nightfall, and Trials which will all boost your power and give you the upgrades in order to progress with added success. Playing as your Warlock; you’ll enjoy figuring out how to get further on in each level. Destiny 2 is just as much about the logic and decision making within the game, as it is about shooting your targets without missing. Take a weekend or two learning the ropes, and you’ll be an expert before you know it, impressing the online community as you go. Vr would only enhance the experience of this new classic, take a look here for an insight into what to expect, and whether you should invest in the game, VR, or both.

Rainbow Six Siege

Tom Clancy’s tactile shooter game was released back in December of 2015 on all the usual suspects, including Windows, PS4, and Xbox One. Since then; Rainbow 6 Siege has impressed players with its wealth of strategy, that couples the usual first-person shooter gunplay. You feel the camaraderie with your teammates after laying a trap, and your heart will begin to race while you await the enemy’s approach. You can utilize Rainbow Six Siege cheats to push your experience further. And, of course, the VR headset will only keep you part of the strategic, and in-depth world of this siege-based experience.

The recent launch of LawBreakers on PC and PS4 has proved popular; however, it is not yet available to use with VR, even though the creators have not ruled it out. The game is in the early stages of release and development, so a few things would need to be considered before it would be an enjoyable VR experience. Some feel that the game is far too fast-paced to transfer over to VR play. However, the sci-fi theme of this first-person shooter, and the addition of plenty of character and weaponry focus; there’s definitely scope for its future in a more immersive environment for the player.

There’s no denying that whether you prefer a multi-player game, or are a lone first-person shooter; a VR headset would enhance your experience and keep you indoors for the rest of the cold months ahead, so consider utilizing one next time the computer goes on.
