ReCore

Recore, which was announced at last year’s E3 event, will be coming to PC as well as the Xbox One. Originally stated as an Xbox One exclusive at the 2015 E3 Microsoft conference, ReCore was recently spotted on blog post that talked about Xbox games that we will be seeing in 2016, and ReCore was listed to be released for Windows as well.

In a recent Q&A on Twitter, Xbox’x Phil Spencer had talked about giving gamers more of a choice when it comes to gaming, be it whether they want to play on an Xbox console or on a desktop.

ReCore is an action/adventure title that is being directed by Keiji Inafune, the man responsible for the likes of Mega Man and Mighty No. 9. He got his start at Capcom where he worked on many titles, including Onimusha, Lost Planet, and Dead Rising. It was also announced that Halo and Destiny co-creator Joseph Staten will be the lead writer for ReCore.

ReCore looks to be fun, and makes me slightly reminiscent of the Metroid series, though I can’t quite put my finger on why. No for sure release date has been announced, though we’d place our bets on a 2016 holiday release window.
