Everything We Saw on Nintendo Direct 11/12/15
So after a super long hiatus after the untimely passing of Satoru Iwata back in July, Nintendo Direct has finally made a comeback. This one did not disappoint, and had a little something for everyone. In this editorial, I’m going to talk a bit about what the show announced and then some. So shall we get started?
Reggie started the show off with an announcement that we all new was coming due to leaks in the past weeks… The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD for the Nintendo WiiU. Along with the release of this game, we will also be getting an all new Legend of Zelda Amiibo, Wolf Link with Imp Midna atop his back. The Amiibo will come bundled with the game. The Wolf Link Amiibo can also be used on the future Legend of Zelda title, Zelda U. Not to mention, all of the previous LoZ Amiibo are compatible with Twilight Princess HD. The game is set to release on March 4th, 2016. Zelda U was also re-confirmed to release next year in 2016.
Tri Force Heroes for the 3DS will receive an update on December 2nd, giving us a new area called the Den of Trials, and it will offer over 30 stages. We’ll also get two new outfits in the game, Fierce Deity Link and Linebeck.
Super Pokemon Mystery Dungeon will be out on November 20th. Play as one of 20 Pokemon, and come in contact will all of the other Pokemons in game… yes… all 720 of them.
Super Mario Maker gets a new portal site that can be accessible from your PC or smartphone. From there you can view new stages and favorite them, that way you can play them later on. This makes it easier for players to find and discover new courses. The site will be up sometime in December.
Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival comes out tomorrow, and will feature a bundle including Isabel and Digby Amiibos – which you can only get in the bundle. You can expect more Amiibo to come out from Animal Crossing. You can also use the Animal Crossing Amiibo cards that are used in Happy Home Designer to unlock new games and other neat stuff.
New Splatoon content was announced from new stages to new equipment and new gear. An update for the game went live today shortly after the presentation. We can expect more updates for the rest of this year, adding in new content, and totally free of charge.
Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash is due out on November 20th for the WiiU, while Xenoblade Chronicles X comes out on December 4th.
Nintendo Badge Arcade just came out on the 3DS and is free to download and start. Collect badges and decorate your home screen on your 3DS. You can also pay to play more and earn more badges.
Pokemon Picross for the 3DS will release in early December.

New Amiibo will be available come January 22nd. Amiibo include Resetti, Blathers, Lucas, and a couple others.
Pokken Tournament has been announced to release on the WiiU in Spring of 2016. Dive into a world where Pokemon meets Tekken and duke it out as your favorite Pokemons!
StarFox Zero will release for the Wii U on April 22nd, 2016.
Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam will release on the 3DS on January 22nd, 2016. Play as both 3D Mario and Paper Mario and solve the puzzles in the game!
Final Fantasy Explorers looks to be pretty interesting and releases on January 26th, 2016. Play in 20 professions, and customize your character how you see fit from armor to costumes. Dress up like your favorite characters from past Final Fantasy games. You can enjoy the game in single player mode, or travel and battle alongside friends via local or online play.
Fire Emblem Fates releases next year on February 19th, 2016 for the 3DS. Chose from Birthright, Conquest or Revelation, or just take on all three titles in an $80 bundle that will not only include all three titles, but will also come with and art book and a 3DS XL pouch.
Megaman Legacy Collection releases on the 3DS on February 23rd, 2016. Enjoy playing through the first six games that made the series popular, all while getting to play new challenge modes. You can also unlock more challenges by using your Megaman Amiibo. Also bundled with the game will be a special gold Megaman Amiibo.
Coming to the 3DS eShop exclusively are old Pokemon gems Red, Blue, and Yellow. They will be available on February 27th, 2016.
Hyrule Warriors Legends will also be coming to the 3DS next year on March 25th, 2016. Play as new characters Tetra, Toon Link, and the King of Red Lions from Wind Waker, Skull Kid from Majora’s Mask, and… Linkle? A new original female character who was fashioned after Link, but is in no way Link. She fights with dual crossbows and looks to be pretty cool.
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past and Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King will all be available on the 3DS sometime in summer of 2016.

And to end the show with a big bang so to speak… an new fighter has been revealed for Super Smash Bros. We can only assume this is the winner from the infamous ballot Nintendo put out for who should be the next contender on SSB… and that winner is Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII!!! Donning tow different outfits, his original costume from FFVII and his garb from FFVII: Advent Children. From Summons to the almighty Omnislash, he has it all! Can’t wait to play with him in 2016!
