Dark Souls III

An online retailer has recently published details about upcoming editions for Dark Souls III, and in addition to revealing the first information about different editions for the game, it’s also confirmed a released ate for the title.

Geekgay Games is a Middle Eastern retailer that has put up listings for pre-order of The Collector Edition and Prestige Editions of the game. As well as a release date for April 12, 2016, which is right about the window it was previously indicated that the game would launch.

The Collector Edition will include the game itself, a 25-cm red knight figurine, a hardcover art book, a cloth map, the game’s soundtrack, iron-on patches, and packaging in a metal case and collector’s box.

The Prestige Edition includes is much the same, with the game, art book, cloth map, soundtrack, patches, and metal case. Further additions include a 40-cm Lord of Cinder figurine in place of the 25-cm, as well as a different collector’s box.

Prices for the listing are in local currency, and we have no way of knowing yet if they’ll match up with editions that launch in North America. The Collector Edition is selling for 499 AED (about $136) while the Prestige is 1,799 AED (about $490).

No word yet from Bandai Namco if we’ll see similar editions launched in other locales.
