No More Details to be Given on Fallout 4’s Plot

Some people like to hear all the details of a game that they can before that game’s launch… and then there are others, such as myself, that like to be surprised by what a game has to offer. Thankfully for those gamers like me, Bethesda has stated that they will not be saying anymore about the storyline for their upcoming and highly anticipated title, Fallout 4.

Announced at E3 a couple months back, some details were given on the game, but very little has been said about the plot in the game, and Pete Hines of Bethesda has stated that we can expect to hear nothing more about it, saying, “I would be stunned if we said anything else about the story ever again. We’re going to let everybody experience that in the game as much as possible.

He went on further, talking about the title we’re all anticipating:

Ultimately we landed on six months, it felt like it worked for a game like this. We felt that it was highly anticipated. Obviously Bethesda Game Studios has a stellar reputation and it is both a Fallout 3 follow-up as well as a follow up to Skyrim which is well known throughout the world, and [so] Fallout 4 would be something that would have a lot of buzz and noise around it and we didn’t need as long as you might for some other titles to kind of build that interest to launch.

It’s refreshing to have a gaming company be not so keen on dishing out ALL of the games details right off the bat – It’s nice to actually have some hype left for the game’s release.

Fallout 4 is set to release on PS4, PC, and Xbox One on November 10th.
