Call of Duty: Black Ops III won’t be out for a couple months, but access to the game’s multiplayer beta has come bit early. Originally intended to go live later this week, the beta is officially available for play on the PlayStation 4.

Options for redeeming the game’s beta code will be made through email, so check your email for the token to enter. In the meanwhile, there’s also a full FAQ detailing this access which can be found here. Download of the client is already available, and you can start playing once you have access to your token.

Part of this beta testing includes different Specialists, as well as multiple gameplay modes – per info released from press and VIPs that already have access. At present, this beta is expected to run to completion on August 23.

Meanwhile, the PC and Xbox One versions of the multiplayer beta don’t look to be getting any early release, but fortunately it’s not much longer a wait; both will become available starting August 26.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III is the sequel to 2012’s Call of Duty: Black Ops II and will officially launch on November 6 for the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
