“Be The Outlander” In SWTOR’s New Expansion

Posted August 7, 2015 by Bunneh3000 in News

Bioware is making yet another push to try to get subscribers to return and join up with the Force. Their MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic has long received mixed reviews from the community despite being a marginally better offering than Star Wars Galaxies was (and even that is debatable). Now is the time for their next expansion of the pre Prequel trilogy setting and it is being called Knights of the Fallen Empire.

In this new “Be The Outlander” trailer, the mysterious ‘Jedi’ twins are put aside to focus on the character that you will portray, The Outlander. A veteran of the Great Galactic War between the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic, you return ‘home’ to the Empire of Zakuul aka the Eternal Empire. Led by a ruthless leader called Valkorion, you learn that your fate is tied to the fate of this emerging faction in the civil war that continues to rage on.

As usual, this expansion is heavily story based and has implications on the universe as a whole. The initially released chapters are all class based and are planned to have continuous release to complete the epic personalized story in an effort to pull us all back in. With a ton of subscriber bonuses including gear an even companion gunslinger Nico Okarr, they are also hoping you’ll fork over a bit of cash to enhance your adventuring experience in this free to play MMORPG.

Knights of the Fallen Empire is set for release on October 27th and is free for all subscribers.
