20th Anniversary Amazon “Prime Day” Event Coming Soon

Posted July 6, 2015 by Kenesu in News

My how time flies when your having fun gaming, watching Netflix, and/or escaping the stresses of reality within the unlimited bounds of the Internet. With Amazon approaching it’s 20th year anniversary, a major cyber event has been announced to take place for one day that’s said to be a huge sale synonymous or even greater than Black Friday itself.

On July 15th, “Prime Day” will be launched on Amazon in celebration of it’s 20th Anniversary which will be exclusive to Amazon Prime Members within the United States, as well as those in the United Kingdom, Japan, Spain, Italy, Germany, France, Canada, and Austria. Prime Day starts at midnight on July 15th and is expected to be a huge “global shopping event that will offer more deals than Black Friday.” A statement like this on its own is major as we all know how much of a big deal Black Friday is and to speculate Prime Day to be just as massive of an event is a huge statement. Hopefully Amazon hasn’t bitten off more than they can chew.

Throughout the day, new sales and offers will arrive onto the site every 10 minutes for Prime Members to take advantage of. Though a list hasn’t be released of what will actually go on sale, it’s safe to assume a good amount of video games will be on sale throughout the day so be sure to check Amazon periodically for updates of what games games and/or DVDs go on sale.

So if there are any purchases you’ve been planning to make through Amazon, it’d be smart to hold off on any purchases made until July 15th to see if they’ll be up for sale through Prime Day. Just remember, you’ll need to be an Amazon Prime Member to take advantage of this awesome event.

So you guys excited about the Prime Day sale coming up? Leave your comments below and be sure to keep it locked to GP as we keep you up to date on what’s circulating within your gaming universe. See ya!
