Lucas Coming to Super Smash Bros. Soon

Posted June 5, 2015 by Kenesu in News

Well, it seems like Ness’s Earthbound buddy will be returning to the Smash Bros arena very soon as Nintendo recently announced today that Lucas will indeed be added to the Super Smash Bros. 4 roster on June the 14th for both the 3DS and the Wii U systems.

Similar to the Mewtwo release, you’ll be able to choose between either paying $4 to add Lucas to your 3DS or Wii U SSB4 game or pay $5 for the bundle that gives you Lucas for both systems. If you own SSB4 for both the Wii U and the 3DS then naturally you’ll want to ante up the extra dollar to have him on both systems. Though if you only have one or the other, four bucks isn’t bad for an awesome character such as Lucas. There will also be a Lucas-themed Mii-verse stage and Splatoon-themed Mii-Costumes released sometime next week for Super Smash Bros. 4 via Smash update as well. No word yet on pricing of the Lucas-themed stage though the Splatoon Mii-Costumes will sell for $.75 cents each. Definitely feels good to be a Smash player these days.

Any of you plan on picking up Lucas when he arrives next week? Leave your comments below and be sure to keep it locked to GP as we keep you up to date on what’s circulating within your gaming universe. See ya!
