Slender The Arrival Coming To Next Gen

Horror and horror survival games have managed to achieve a sort of resurgence in these golden days of indie gaming. Thankfully, this has translated into a host of independent studios making games of all sorts in addition to gems such as Five Nights at Freddy’s and a recent gem from indie Canadian outfit Blue Isle Studios called Slender: The Arrival is seeing an expanded reach onto next gen platforms this March.

Scheduled now for March 24th launch on the PlayStation 4 and March 25th on the Xbox One, Slender is set to take its survival horror jumpiness to the next step. This digital only release will come at a nice price point of $10 on both consoles. Thankfully, this new edition will also come with new content as explained by the press release:

“In The Arrival’s all new storyline, Lauren is in search of her friend Kate, who recently has become increasingly obsessed with the folklore of Slender Man. Was Kate’s disappearance the work of Slender Man? Use Kate’s forgotten flashlight to explore abandoned houses, creepy mines and dark forests to unravel the mystery – all the while being stalked by the menacing presence of Slender Man.”

I’ll add this to another list of games that I’ll never play at night!
