This past weekend at EGX Rezzed, Chris and the rest of the Playtonic crew spoke about their plans of resurrecting the 3D platformer genre as well as sharing a little information about there spiritual successor to Banjo Kazooie, with their project code-named “Project Ukulele”. They also spoke about their soon to be launched Kickstarter for Project Ukulele as it has gained a whole lot more love and attention than Playtonic had expected and with high expectations already set by hardcore Banjo Kazooie fans everywhere. A Kickstarter would definitely help them fund the project better, and if successful, would also help to see how large their support fan-base actually is. While you’re at it, check out this video  for their EGX Rezzed session.

Also as an added bonus, they released new screen shots of Project Ukulele. Check them out below! They look pretty nice to me, what do you all think?:

So what do you think about ‘Project Ukulele’? Are you excited to see a spiritual successor to good ol’ Banjo Kazooie?
