New Concert Dates for Pokemon Symphonics Evolution Announced

Posted March 26, 2015 by Kenesu in News

If anyone knows me at all, they know that I’m a HUGE Pokemon fan. I started playing Pokemon from Red/Blue/Yellow series and never looked back. While I was never really into RPG games, Pokemon for some reason snagged me from the intro and kept me grinding and grinding countless Pokemon to have them be the best that they could be. Though breeding and battling is an essential part of Pokemon, one of my fondest memories about playing Pokemon was the soundtrack itself. I’d literally chill in Cerulean City and let my game run while the BGM played. This was back when the internet was just getting off the ground and cassettes and CDs were a thing so downloading Pokemon BGM wasn’t an option. Now we’re in a day and age where every piece of music we hear now is merely within the Internet’s reach and made easily accessible for us to obtain. Though there’s nothing like hearing music orchestrated live in-front of you, bringing back those nostalgic feels and helping you recapture the true essence of what made the music so special to you in the first place… which leads me to today’s AWESOME NEWS!!!!!

Back in 2014’s Pokemon VGC (Video Game Championships) Tournament, a Video Game Concert was hosted and conducted by Pikachu himself. All the music that everyone had come to love from the Pokemon series from Red and Blue to Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire were all rearranged in a orchestral fashion and played for everyone in attendance. It brought all the Pokemon fans within the Warner Theater together as many joined in tune to the classic rhythms filling the air while others cried and rejoiced in remembrance of how beautiful it felt to hear such music orchestrated before them. The concert then continued on through multiple states and ended September of 2014. On January 17 of 2015, Pokemon Symphonic emerged again for another show within the Heinz Hall in Pittsburgh, PA and was a major success. Now two months later it seems like there’s another Pokemon Symphonic Evolution Concert is in the works by the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra on May 1st at 8:00PM, playing everything from Pokemon Red/Blue all the way to Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire.Tickets don’t officially go on sale until the 28th though if you use the presale code MELOETTA, you’ll be able to purchase your tickets on the 27th , a day before the rest of the crowd.

If you’re a Pokemon fan of any kind and haven’t had the chance to hear the classic soundtracks of Pokemon played before you in such a way as the Pokemon Symphonic Evolution Concert provides then you’ll DEFINITELY want to try and attend this event. You won’t be disappointed. Click here to purchase your tickets and ENJOY!!!!!!
