Life is Strange

After the first episode release back in January, Life is Strange is set to get its second episode later this month, as was confirmed by the developer.  Dontnod Entertainment (best known for Remember Me) made the official announcement via Twitter that episode two will release on March 24.  This came following an on-stage event at the Rezzed convention in the UK.

Episode two was originally set to release on March 13, though no information was given about why it saw delay.  It will release simultaneously across the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.  Hopefully from here on out, the remaining episodes will only see the anticipated six weeks wait for the remaining three episodes, as was originally intended.

Life is Strange is an episodic game in the vein of The Walking Dead that follows the character of Maxine Caulfield, a photography student with the ability to rewind time, with a butterfly effect like impact resulting from each of her choices.  The central narrative follows Max reconnecting with her best friend Chloe Price while in search of her own missing friend Rachel Amber.

The first episode released on January 30 and received widespread praise for its characters, story, and use of time mechanics.  It’s currently available across consoles and the PC.
