Huge Monster Hunter 4 DLC Announcement with Link First Up to Bat

Posted March 3, 2015 by Kenesu in News

As if Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate didn’t have enough awesome jam-packed into it already, Capcom has come out and announced that they’ll be releasing DLC for the MH4U every first Friday of the month, starting on March 6th.

This month’s first DLC will showcase none other than Link and his equipment, as you’ll be able to obtain a new bow and arrow set, sword, shield, and a set of armor that will replicate Link’s look from the Legend of Zelda Series. Capcom is also teaming up with Universal Studios Japan to release a whole new equipment set in conjunction to the Link DLC we’ll be getting as well.

This is couldn’t be anymore perfect, as Link fits just right within the Monster Hunter Universe better than anyone else in the Nintendo Franchise and being able to download and rock his armor and weapons while taking down Great Jaggis and Gore Magalas definitely sets the bar high for whatever DLC they plan to release in the future. I’m confident Capcom will deliver though, as they’ve always shown the Monster Hunter series great love and support. If only Capcom showed love to everyone else the same way (**cough** Street Fighter x Tekken **cough**).

So how do y’all feel about the MH4U DLC announcement? Leave your comments below and let me know if you’ll be using Link’s armor and equipment or you’ll just stick with your own equipment that you’ve grinded and hunted for from the start. Stay tuned to GP and keep up to date with all the latest gaming news circulating in your gaming universe. See ya!
