Dragon Age Inquisition

With Dragon Age: Inquisition having hit the most successful launch for a BioWare title back in November, the developer and publisher EA are releasing the first of its game’s downloadable content.  Titled Jaws of Hakkon, this expansion is now available on the Xbox One and PC for $15.  The PlayStation 4 version is still forthcoming and expected soon.

In Jaws of Hakkon, players will traverse wilderness inhabited by the Avvar to “discover the fate of the last Inquisitor and the powerful dragon he hunted.”  Exploration will include that of an “ancient Tevinter fortress that hides a dangerous secret.”  And the end of the expansion sounds to include an epic boss fight that descriptions describe as an “ancient god of  war bent on destroying  the very world.”  All of which is to say, it sounds like an excellent addition to the series’ complex history.

The first trailer for this new DLC has been posted, and explains more about the Jaws of Hakkon sect that is summoning this ancient god of theirs.  It can be viewed here.

Dragon Age: Inquisition was released in November across consoles and for the PC and in addition to numerous accolades, received more than one Game of the Year award.
