Dishonored

Sony has made its official announcements about new and upcoming free games that are being added to PlayStation Plus.  The good news is that one of those games is Bethesda’s very own Dishonored.  The bad news is that, despite some confusion in the matter, it won’t be arriving until April rather than in March.

The news first broke from PlayStation Europe on Twitter, leading fans to believe that the award-winning first-person stealth title would be arriving this month rather than next.  Though the company later clarified that no, it won’t be included in March’s lineup.

Dishonored is coming to PlayStation Plus (PS3) in April,” Sony said.  “Sorry for the confusion this month – we pulled the trigger too early!

On the plus side, despite a brief delay, as of last week Sony has officially rolled out the lineup of free games for the PlayStation Plus in March, across the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita, and it’s a good array of games all the same.

The March PlayStation Plus titles are:

PlayStation 4

  • CounterSpy
  • Oddworld: New ‘N’ Tasty
  • OlliOlli 2: Welcome to Olliwood
  • Valiant Hearts

PlayStation 3

  • CounterSpy
  • Pap & Yo
  • Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishment

PlayStation Vita

  • CounterSpy
  • OlliOlli 2: Welcome to Olliwood
