Bloodborne Will Have New Game Plus

Posted March 15, 2015 by Kat in News

We’re speeding toward the release of Bloodborne and new details are continuing to emerge about the upcoming action-RPG.  Among other things, developer From Software has confirmed that the title will include a New Game Plus mode – and beyond that, even its own creators are having difficulty beating it.

Project director for Bloodborne Hidetaka Miyazaki confirmed this saying, “Yes, there will be a New Game Plus mode.  We’re having trouble beating it, though.”  Not only is this title described as a spiritual successor to the Demon’s Souls and Dark Souls games that From Software is known for, but it already appears to be upholding the Souls method of difficulty – something the series has become notorious for.  So this points to the possibility of Bloodborne, if anything, possibly being even harder.

In the meanwhile, Bloodborne has been sent by its developer to Sony for QA and certification.  And was recently confirmed as having gone gold – meaning that the development team has completed their work and it’s being shipped out from factories for mass production in preparation for the final release.

Bloodborne is the next big PlayStation 4 exclusive of the year (after last month’s The Order: 1886) and will be out in the US March 24, and then in the UK on March 27.
