Tomb Raider, BioShock Infinite, Rayman Legends Coming to Xbox Live Gold

Posted February 26, 2015 by Kat in News

With March rapidly approaching, details on what games Microsoft will be making available for free through its Xbox Live Gold membership are coming to light. Among them is a confirmed four different titles for the upcoming month, as well as speculation that the company may be offering eight free games come April.

On the Xbox 360, those with an Xbox Live Gold membership will have free access to Tomb Raider starting on March 1. This will be good through the 15th, whereupon it will be replaced with BioShock Infinite – which will serve as the free title for the remainder of March.

Once downloaded, the game is owned by that subscriber, and no login or continued subscription to Gold is required in order to access it.

Meanwhile, for the Xbox One, the Gold membership is getting Rayman Legends free for the entirety of March. On top of this, February’s free title IDARB is continuing its run into March.  Once accessed, each of these two games remained accessible as long as the user has an active Gold membership.

Microsoft additionally announced that 100 million games have been played through their Games with Gold promotion. “To celebrate, we’re giving customers more of what they love by doubling free games in Games With Gold for April,” the company said.
