Evolve’s Non-Season Pass DLC Comes to Over $130

Evolve

Evolve has officially seen its launch across platforms, and with it came the expected Season Pass.  On top of that is perhaps something not quite so expected: additional DLC that, to buy the totality of, a person would have to spend well over $100.  DLC that isn’t included with the game’s Season Pass.

So what is this that Turtle Rock is making available outside the Season Pass?  Over on the Xbox Store includes listing for some 40 different items.  Many of which include skins, skin packs, and the like.  Not the grandest of items, and very much optional the experience.  Indeed, buying one a piece will only cost between $1.99 and $6.99, depending on the item.

Where it really adds up is when put all together: the grand total for purchasing all this extra DLC comes to an impressive $135.56.  So for any gamers looking to hoard everything made available, they’ll have to shell out a fair amount of money for the privilege.

In the meanwhile, the game’s $24.99 Season Pass comes with three exclusive skins otherwise unavailable, and four extra Hunters that to be made available.  Purchase of the Hunters can be made separately for $7.49.  And it should be noticed, purchase of the DLC does absolutely nothing to affect the gameplay; you can still get the solid Evolve experience when buying only the game.
