Happy Friday, and salutations all! We’re back form holiday here at Gaming Precision, and I, Nightingale, am here to give to you the Weekly News Rundown!

It’s been announced recently that the PlayStation 4‘s release has been delayed in China, and won’t arrive next week as originally planned. Sony states that the delay was due to “various factors“. It was said that “negotiations with Chinese authorities” was one of the reasons that the system’s release has been delayed. No alternate date has been released just yet.

Pre-loading is now available for Resident Evil HD on both the PS4 and Xbox One. Pre-loading means that upon preordering the game, the game will load itself on the system meaning that as soon as the game becomes available you can play it. The game will launch on January 20th. This HD remake is of 2002’s GameCube version of Resident Evil, which in turn in a remake of the 1996 PS1 original. There will also be cross-buy on the game, meaning that if you buy it on the PS3, you’ll get it for free on the PS4, and vise-versa, but only if you preorder the game.

So there was a ‘goof’ on Twitter this past week. Voice actor Bill Farmer – Goofy’s voice actor on Kingdom Hearts – let is slip on a Tweet answering fans’ questions that Kingdom Hearts III will release later this year. Of course you could imagine that fans were ecstatic, but their dreams were slightly crushed once Square Enix USA took to Twitter and stated that the release date was still unannounced. So…they said ‘unannounced’…so maybe there is still hope?
