So apparently Microsoft, after many rumors, may actually be working on a VR headset. Microsoft will supposedly unveil their VR headset during next year’s E3, which is scheduled to happen June 16-18, 2015. Also, several gaming studios who have not been named have already received Xbox One VR dev kits. The name of the device has yet to be given out by the company. With the Facebook-owned Oculus Rift and Sony PlayStation’s Project Morpheus, this looks to be an interesting battle between which VR headset will reign supreme. Who do you think will do the VR headset fad justice?

So here’s something that will leave you either scratching your head or have you jumping for joy. Telltale’s next gaming venture has been named, and it’s not what you’d ever suspect. Minecraft: Story Mode – A Telltale Game Series has been announced for PC, Mac, mobile devices, and Xbox and PlayStation consoles and will arrive sometime in 2015. Telltale says of their next project that: “The game has an original storyline that is influenced by the choices players make, similar to Telltale’s other offerings, Tales from the Borderlands, Game of Thrones, The Wolf Among Usand The Walking Dead. “Telltale’s game series will mix new characters with familiar themes, in an entirely original Minecraft experience, inspired by the Minecraft community and the game that continues to inspire a generation.

They also say of the game that they are not so much attempting at making a back story for Steve, but merely “explaining the world of Minecraft in detail.”

What do you think of Telltale’s next choice for a game series?
