Tekken is one of those iconic fighting games that pretty much every gamer has played at least once or twice in their gamer life. And of course there are the hardcore fans that labels Tekken as their main fighting game of choice. With the upcoming addition to the franchise, Tekken 7, everybody has been clamoring to hear what new characters we will be seeing, if any at all.

During the game’s 20th anniversary celebration over in Japan, it was announced that we would be seeing a new character for Tekken 7, a female character, and her name is Lucky Chloe. Lucky Chloe dons what appears to be a very cute cat cosplay. With her long blonde pigtails and headphones, she looks like someone you’d see at an anime convention. In the character video they released, her fighting style looks something like Felicia from Dark Stalkers, or at least that’s what it reminded me of. Only downside to this new character, is that she may only be available in the Tekken 7 versions over in Asia and Europe. Katsuhiro Harada did mention that Tekken 7 players in the west would be getting some new characters all their own, saying: “I’ll release another character for you guys. I said, we’ve more new characters.”

Tekken 7 will come to the Japanese arcades sometime next year, though no console release has been discussed as of yet.
