To all of the Xbox One gamers that were possibly looking forward to get Ori and the Blind Forest in time for the holiday season, I’ve got some really unfortunate bad news for you. Moon Studios, the developer behind the fantasy-esque Xbox One exclusive, announced earlier that the game would no longer have a holiday season release, but that it will now release early next year in 2015.

“While we’re extremely excited for all of you to get your hands on Ori and the Blind Forest as soon as possible, we made the decision  together with our partners at Microsoft Studios that we’ll need just a little more time in order to add a final layer of Polish to – what we hope – will be an unforgettable gaming experience” – Moon Studios blog post

Ori and the Blind Forest was announced earlier this year during Microsoft’s E3 conference. And in all honesty, it was the only Xbox One exclusive that actually had me wanting an Xbox One for a split second. As we learn more on the actual release date for Ori and the Blind Forest, we here at Gaming Precision will keep you in the loop!
