Naughty Dog Selling Clicker Busts

Posted November 17, 2014 by Kat in News

Naughty Dog has revealed the latest in collector memorabilia becoming available for the most ardent of fans for their critical hit The Last of Us: a Clicker bust.  This is, of course, a life-like representation of one of the game’s infamous monsters, representative of the post-apocalypse, fungus-fueled horror that is the game’s depicted storyworld.

At present, it’s listed for sale on the storefront of the developer’s website, with the accompanied description explaining that it was modeled after a similar Clicker bust that currently sits in the Nuaghty Dog offices.  “This bust integrates integrates moss, cotton fiber to simulate fungus, and monifilament/exposy to simulate saliva to create a very creepy display,” the description reads.   In other words, it’s the perfect life-like simulation of the game’s disturbing, zombie-like creature – the kind that infected humans transform into – for those who feel the need to display something so nightmarish in their own home.

These busts were created by VFX artist Cinvent Van Dyke and stand at 11″ tall.  They’ll sell for $150 with only 1500 units being made available.  It also looks like they’re start making shipments of the Clicker busts sometime in mid to late December, so pre-orders for the item are available.
