Welcome back to the weekly Gaming Precision feature, where the site’s very own Tech Curse breaks down four great games that were released this week.

Check you gun and power up you exo suit cause the next instalment in the Call of Duty franchise is here. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare pulls players out of the “modern day” combat setting that has dominated the series and throws them straight into the future. This title is nothing short of a revolution in the series with the best campaign in the history of the series and a fun multiplayer component that features insane movement mechanics.

I’ve played through the campaign and invested a few hours in multiplayer, and I am amazed by it. The campaign features great performances by the cast of characters, including Troy Baker and Kevin Spacey However it is held back by an extremely cliche twist at the midpoint of the story, which kills the second half of the story in my eyes.

The multiplayer changes everything up with new and improved movement mechanics. You don’t just have a jetpack. You have dash, stealth, health boost and tons of other powers. The multiplayer modes will be familiar to any Call of Duty fans, however that doesn’t mean that they’re bad. Overall, it’s a dude bro shooter, but it is the first Call of Duty that has me excited, just like Titanfall, though with 100% less wall running and titans.

Let’s move on to something a bit different with Football Manager 2015. Do you love football (soccer)? Do you love statistics? Are you a bit of a sadist? Then this year’s entry in the Football Manager franchise is just right for you. I’ll make it clear now, if you’re in the US we’re talking about soccer, if you’re in Europe we’re talking about football. You know, the one with a ball that they kick around. This game is all about being a soccer team’s manager, who has to decide everything from strategy on the pitch to buying and selling players to managing the team’s finances.

Bioshock Infinite: The Complete Edition takes players back to the city in the skies, Columbia. If you haven’t been spoiled on this game already, then here’s the basic premise. Bring us the girl and wipe away the debt. That’s all your getting. This game was one of the best games released last year, and this edition allows players to experience the full game along with all available add-ons.

Finally, the masters of storytelling, Telltale Games, bring us along on a murder mystery at a small community of fabled creatures in this dark, gritty New York. Play as Bigby, the Big Bad Wolf, who is the sheriff in this secret community. Follow his story to discover a serial murderer, who is going after fables. It is available now on current generation consoles, the PS4 and Xbox One.

That’s it for this week. We’re right in the middle of an insane glut of games, including Advanced Warfare, new Assassins Creed games and more. I’m excited, but sad at the same time. So many great games, but I can’t play them all, because reality and reason. Anyway I’ll keep sulking over here, while you guys go out and Game Responsibly!
