Shadow of Mordor’s Power of Shadow Bundle Available Now for Free on Xbox One

Posted October 21, 2014 by Felisha "Nightingale" Silva in News

Good news for those of you who own Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor for the Xbox One. As of today, you can download the Power of Shadow bundle – for free. This update that comes in the form of a slight DLC comes with a new skin and three all new Epic Runes of Power.

The new skin you get will allow you to look like the Black Hand of Sauron himself. Pretty awesome, huh? And as for the three new Epic Runes of Power, they are as follows:

  • One with Nature: You get immunity to poison attacks from Uruk Captains or Ghuls.

  • Ascendant: It doubles your Focus Time for slow motion ranged combat.

  • Elven Grace: It gives increased defense which in turn halves the damage of all enemy strikes.

The update has yet to make it onto PlayStation 4, but will be made available “soon” for othe PlayStation 4 users and Steam users.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is out now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game will release for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on November 18th.

Seeing as I have yet to get either an Xbox One or PS4, I may just have to spend a little money come November 18th and get it for my PS3. I’ve yet to hear anything negative about this game.
