Plants Vs Zombies Gets Free LEGENDS OF THE LAWN Update

Posted October 2, 2014 by Bunneh3000 in News

I must admit the Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare is simply one of those games on my hitlist that I’ve yet to spend the gil on. To actually have an FPS that I wouldn’t mind my kids playing without me is a priceless commodity. Not to mention it is a game that I want to play as well.

Well, Popcap is trying to up the ante and slap all sleepers in the face with additional content that would make Titanfall and Destiny jealous…and it is all FREE!

Called the Legends of the Lawn update, Popcap has provided new Character Variants, the tasty new Taco Bandits game mode, a bountiful offering of more than 200 customization items, and five new spawnable characters.

These variants are essentially specialized versions of each of the different character classes that you can be in the game. Each one has various upgrades so the addition of 7 of them is pretty cool. They are the Golf Star, Centurion, Paleontologist, Chomp Thing, Alien Flower, Jade Cactus, and Sanitation Expert. Check out Popcap’s explanation of all of these variants in the Playstation Blog.

When it comes to the new mode, Taco Bandits, the zombie team is expected to steal tacos from the defending plant team in a kind of Capture the flag variant.

With all of this content and more that can be seen in the trailer, this is certainly the kind of gaming experience that should warrant your hard earned dollars!
