Nintendo Announces Three Unlockable Characters for the New Super Smash Bros.

As if the current roster for the new Super Smash Bros. for the 3DS wasn’t great enough, Nintendo has recently revealed three new characters that are unlockable in the game. Now many of you may or may not already know about these three characters, but just in case you don’t, keep in mind, this is a spoiler alert! If you want to be surprised and find out on your own, then read no further. If you continue to read on – You have been warned.

First up is Falco from Star Fox , who appeared back in both Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Brawl as an unlockable character.

Second announced unlockable is Wario, who last made an appearance in Super Smash Bros. Brawl as a starter character.

And third and finally, the other unlockable is Ness from EarthBound. Ness has also appeared in Super Smash Bros., Super Smash Bros. Melee, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl, where he was a default character each time.

What do you think of the ever-growing roster that is Super Smash Bros for 3DS? Could we see more characters as the time goes? Does Nintendo have more characters hidden in the game, or will we possibly see some SSB DLC in our future? Super Smash Bros. is out now on the Nintendo 3DS, while the Wii U version of Super Smash Bros will be available sometime this holiday season.
