More Uncharted 4 Info to Come ‘Soon’

Posted October 10, 2014 by Kat in News

Though we’re still a far cry from getting more solid information about the next Uncharted, we can still become eager over indications that at some point in the near future, more may be coming.  This very thing was indicated in an interview with co-president of developer Naughty Dog, Evan Wells, discussing their 30-year legacy.  And it was only to be expected that the next game in their hit franchise would be of topic, even if nothing solid was yet given.

Regarding the status of the game, Wells said, “It’s coming along nicely.  We’ve been hard at work since E3 and all I can say is that we’ll be having some stuff to show you very soon.”  When the interviewer asked “How soon?” he replied, “Very.

So at least we have that to look forward to.  Not much has been given about the game so far beyond a teaser at the game’s announcement last November with the launch of the PlayStation 4, and then another at E3 that specifically showcased Nathan Drake.  Of course we have the title – A Thief’s End.  And we know that major players from The Last of Us in Bruce Straley and Neil Druckmann have taken over creative duties for the game.  So at this point, let’s hope that “very” really is sooner rather than later.
