LEGO Batman 3 Getting a Season Pass
As LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is now only a couple months away from release, Warner Bros Interactive made a surprising announcement that the game will be getting a Season Pass, the first ever for a LEGO video game. Purchase of this particular Season Pass comes with six DLC packs for, though only the initial three will be available at release. Each will include a themed mission level, as well as story and free-play modes. Ultimately, this will allow gamers access to over 40 characters, vehicles, and achievements.
Details on the first three DLC packs have been revealed, which will be the first three released alongside the game. Further details and release for the remaining packs have not yet been given.
- The Dark Knight Pack: Contains the chase scene from the film of the same name and will allow you to play as the Dark Knight and Commissioner Gordon – as well as the Joker as he chases down Harvey Dent’s police escort. Bane and Catwoman from the third film are also playable.
- The Man of Steel Pack: Players will help Jor-El, his wife Lara and their robot Kelex send baby Superman to earth. Players will enter Jor-El’s home, fight General Zod’s invading forces and Zod himself.
- Batman 75th Pack: Here you will play as Joker and Harley “setting up a variety of celebration set pieces.” You can also play as one of the many faces of Batman through the years, including his first appearance in Detective Comics #27.
LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham will be out November 14 for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, 3DS, and PC.
