Diablo III Patch 2.1.1 Now Available on PC

Posted September 25, 2014 by Felisha "Nightingale" Silva in News

Diablo III for PC has finally received it’s latest patch, and it’s live as we speak. Patch 2.1.1’s most noticeable attribute is with the in-game pets. They get a life and speed increase for the Witch Doctor class, along with increased chances of gaining legendary items from Kadala in the game’s Adventure Mode. Pets are also now properly affected by the Shield Pylons.

As of right now, the patch is only active for the PC version of Diablo III, though Blizzard assures us that we will be seeing a version of the patch for console versions of the game very soon.

Other things to note in this latest update and patch include:

  • Playing as the Crusader, the Shield Bash can now be interrupted during the hit animation.

  • Playing as the Witch Doctor, Gargantuan is now summoned where your mouse cursor is located on the PC screen.

  • When you summon Zombie Dogs, their life is significantly increased.

  • As for bug fixes, the Moratorium secondary power can now be triggered by assists, the Bane of the Trapped damage increase will now properly applied to Frozen enemies, and the Gem of Efficacious Toxin poison DoT can now properly be applied by pet attacks.
