Gamescom 2014: Next Titanfall DLC Pack Revealed

Titanfall - IMC Rising DLC

Gamescom 2014 is still proceeding apace and shelling us with more reveals and great news. The latest tidbit is the official announcement of the third and final DLC Pack for Titanfall. IMC Rising will bring players to three new locations to fight it out on the Frontier. No more details were made available, though we’re sure to learn more as the pack’s release date approaches.

Titanfall was released earlier this year amid a great deal of hype. The game didn’t end up reviewed as highly as many expected, however it still ended up a breath of fresh air in the stale first-person shooter genre. The game asked players to fight it out on fairly large maps as agile pilots or powerful titans.

Pilots are fast, have jetpacks and know parkour. Titans are massive robotic suits that are able to bring the pain constantly without fail. The title is very fast-paced and fluid. The transition from pilot to titan is easy and fast. You will never have a moment of peace in the short matches of this game and you won’t care.
