Xbox Offers Dishonered In Games With Gold

Posted July 29, 2014 by Bunneh3000 in News

July is almost done and Xbox owners have probably either gotten tired of playing Guacamelee or Max: The Curse of the Brotherhood. With August around the corner it is time for Xbox to start giving up the REAL games in this bonus program. Unfortunately, Xbox is continuing the skimpy freebie treatment with this bonus games offer program in comparison to the PS Plus program.

As of August 1st, Games with Gold will offer Motocross Madness for free on Xbox 360 between the 1st and the 15th. Between the 16th and the end of the month Xbox 360 users will receive the excellent stealth thriller called Dishonored. On the Xbox One side of things, the Games with Gold program offers Crimson Dragon and Strike Suit Zero: Director’s Cut. Interestingly enough, the Xbox One  games are one launch title and an indie arcade style game. These should keep Xbox One players busy for about, let’s say, a weekend. Honestly, both of these games are mediocre at best.

Still, the Xbox 360 will get some additional burn here with an excellent addition to the game roster. Next gen Xbox users are really going to have to wait a while for indie games and many more actual game releases to come about since the offerings for this program change every month.
