Witcher 3 Gets New Trailer, Release Date
New details about the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt have been emerging in recent days, including no less than a brand new trailer from CD Projekt Red, as well as what appears to be the game’s box art, and confirmation that the game will be released February of next year. The exciting new trailer speaks about the history of the Witchers themselves, and indicates heavily a prophecy tied into the character of Ciri, PC Gerault’s de facto adopted daughter, which appears to hearken to the Wild Hunt itself. Among other things, it also features Yennefer, the long-lost love of Gerault.
In the meanwhile, screenshots have been leaked of what appears to be the game’s box art featuring, of course, Gerault himself, and seemingly appears the same across consoles and PCs. In addition, pre-order bonuses for the game look to include a game map, stickers, the official soundtrack, a Witcher Universe Compendium, and the game manual. The developer has also indicated that they’ll be releasing further details about a Collector’s Edition of the game.
Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be available next February for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC and is already available for pre-order. The new trailer can be viewed here.
