As many of the loyal followers of Gaming Precision should know, every Friday means another Weekly News Rundown where I ‘rundown’ all of the gaming news from the past week. Well, this past week was pretty special for all of us gamers out there, as this past week E3 2014 happened! So many great gaming companies came out and dazzled us with what new games and ideas they had up their sleeve. So, in honor of this past week’s E3, this week’s Weekly News Rundown will be E3 themed, as I will talk about all the cool stuff that transpired at E3 2014.

I started my E3 party on the 9th, when the companies Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft, and Sony held their press conferences.

Microsoft was the first out of the gates as they showed off some pretty sweet titles such as Ori and the Blind Forest, Sunset Overdrive, and of course Halo! They lacked any Gears of War news, which was disappointing to some. For the full scoop on the Microsoft conference, check out our very own Bunneh3000’s Microsoft rundown!

A beautiful Xbox One exclusive!

EA teased us with just a small mention of the new Mass Effect game, while they showed of the upcoming Dragon Age: Inquisition. Our very awesome writer Kat was in charge of EA’s conference this year. For the full EA conference info, check out her article here!

The highly anticipated Dragon Age: Inquisition!

Ubisoft started us off with the actual first 5 minutes from the next Far Cry, Far Cry 4. We also saw some awesome stuff from the Just Dance franchise, along with a new Just Dance app that will allow everyone with a smartphone to join ion on the fun. We saw some incredible footage from Assassin’s Creed: Unity. We also saw Tom Clancy’s The Division, and the announcement of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege. For more on Ubisoft’s conference, check out my full article here!

Far Cry 4…this new villain is INSANE!!!

Finally we saw Sony’s presentation to top of the end of the day. They announced a new PS4 bundle that would include a gorgeous white 500GB PS4 which will be bundled with Destiny and will be available on September 9th. We also got the announcement of a new Little Big Planet 3 for the PS4. The mysterious ‘Project Beast’ was finally revealed as the spiritual successor to Demon Souls, Bloodbourne. They talked a tad about Project Morpheus, and how it’s just the beginning. They even talked about PlayStation TV. We had our very own Tech Curse cover Sony’s conference, so go check out Ivan’s Sony rundown!

The PS4 exclusive Bloodbourne…can't wait to play this!

Come Tuesday, the 10th, Nintendo hosted their Nintendo Digital Event, where they talked about all of the great stuff coming from Nintendo. They announced Amiibo, the NFC figures that they are making for games, most namely Super Smash Bros. These figure will be read on the GamePad via a chip in the figure. They announced the new yarn Yoshi game, Yoshi’s Wooly World. The new Legend of Zelda was finally shown, complete with a gorgeous trailer. The trailer showed off the open-world that Eiji Aonuma has been telling us about. No exact date yet, aside from 2015. We didn’t even get a name, aside from Legend of Zelda U. They talked about Bayonetta 2, where you can dress Bayonetta up in Link’s, Peach’s, and Samus’ costumes. There was more talk about Hyrule Warriors, the game where they mash Dynasty Warriors with The Legend of Zelda. Turns out we will have a ton of playable characters, so far only Link, Impa, Zelda, and Midna have been announced. We can expect Hyrule Warriors to come out on September 26th. We will also be getting a new Kirby game for the Wii U. Xenoblade Chronicles X was debuted, along with Mario Maker, and Splatoon. For complete listing of details from Nintendo’s Digital Event for E3, check out my reporton it, as I, GP’s Nintendo Fanatic, predictably took that task upon myself. And as always, when it comes to gaming, stay locked onto Gaming Precision for all things gaming and awesome! Nightingale, out.

The new Legend of Zelda looks beyond stunning – 2015 needs to hurry up and get here!
