Scorpion Dominating The Cover Of Mortal Kombat X

The latest game in the Mortal Kombat series was recently announced and we now have some great box art for the game. Scorpion is dominating it all on his own. The recently announced game will be coming to current, last generation consoles and PCs in 2015. It follows the traditions of past Mortal Kombat games and brings back some great familiar features, like X-Ray moves. The trailer (see it here) shows off an action-packed battle between Scorpion and Sub-Zero, iconic characters from the series.

If you don’t know what Mortal Kombat is, then I have to ask you. Where have you been? It is a series of 2.5 D fighting games that features 3D characters fighting from a 2D perspective. This iconic video game franchise has been going since the first game was released way back in 1992. It is best known for the insane amount of violence, especially the finishing moves that are cringe-worthy. The last game in the series was released in 2011 and rebooted the series.

Mortal Kombat X will get a proper public reveal at E3, the Electronic Entertainment Expo. This year in video games is shaping up to be the best one we’ve ever had and that’s no exaggeration. Remember to keep your sights locked on all of GP’s coverage of the conference.
