Shaq Fu A Legend Reborn Reaches It’s Stretch Goal

Posted May 7, 2014 by Bunneh3000 in News
Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn finished its IndieGogo campaign with a host of fan support totaling $473,884. Big Deez Productions started their crowdfunding effort along with Shaquille O’Neal himself back in March to see whether the world was ready for Shaq’s return to digital greatness. Ok, so maybe that is a bit of a stretch considering that the original was far from great. Still, this go around Shaq and the ambitious developers at Big Deez are committed to making a real beat ’em up worthy gamers’ library.

Considering their stretch goal was $450,000, it is clear that the world wants to see Shaq Fu beat up ninjas and other baddies with over the top moves and hyper pronounced neck muscles!

Yo, future Shaq…your neck muscles ain't really like that!

Not only that, Shaq Fu is now set to come to on PS4, Wii U, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360, in addition to the PC. This hopeful mix of  Streets of Rage meets Street Fighter meets Devil May Cry also will have an international tournament that is only open to those who contributed at least $20 to the effort. The grand prize winner is set to face off against Shaq with the winner taking home $25,000. I doubt Shaq needs the paper so I’m sure whoever faces off with him will walk off with more than just memories of Shaq whoppin’ his tail.
