It should be of no surprise now whenever Nintendo dishes out another specialty bundle for the Wii U. We’ve seen several in the past, such as the Skylanders SwapForce Bundle and The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker bundle. It’s a smart idea…buy a console, get a free game, basically. So it should be of no surprise that it’s been spotted online by Gameblog that there will be a Mario Kart 8 bundle. Nintendo usually does bundles with their more anticipated games, and Mario Kart 8 is one such game.

The bundle is due to release in Europe and North America on May 30th, the same day the game itself launches. The bundle will come with the black Deluxe Wii U which contains 32GB of storage, a copy of Mario Kart 8, and a one-week trial of Nintendo’s Wii U Karaoke app.

Though Nintendo has not officially confirmed this bundle, we all know that it’s going to happen. We’d assume the bundle will be priced at $299.99, just like The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker one was. I myself already own a Wii U, and love it! But with everything I’ve seen of the new Mario Kart 8, this is a great chance to get the game and the Wii U for those who have yet to own the console.
