Plants VS. Zombies: Garden Warfare Coming to PC This June
“Hilarious, Critically-Acclaimed Shooter Marches Out of the Trenches, Prepared for Combat on Origin for PC”
That’s how the email began that we here at Gaming Precision received this morning straight from EA and Popcap themselves. The most fun you can have in a third-person shooter with all of the fun of plants and zombies, aka Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, will be making its way onto PC on June 24th through Origin and other retailers.
The game originally released on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One, and was very well received by the public. With its popularity being more than anticipated, EA just had to bring it to PC gamers as well.
We’ve had an amazing response from players since launching the Xbox platforms, and can’t wait for PC players to join the party this summer. The PC version has all the great content that we have put out since launch like Garden Variety and Zomboss Down for players to enjoy from the start. – Brian Lindley, Producer on Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare
On the PC version, you can expect all of the fun from the Xbox versions, such as the 12 vs. 12 multiplayer modes Gardens and Graveyards and Team Vanquish, as well as the co-op mode Garden Ops. Along with all of that, the PC version will even get a Wild West theme, eight new playable characters, all of the content from the Garden Variety Pack and Zomboss Down, a Cactus Canyon map, and over 200 customizations.
As of today, you can pre-order the Origin Digital Deluxe edition, that will include in-game coins, two Booster Packs, and an exclusive character customization pack.
I don’t know about you, but regardless that I already have it for my Xbox 360, I can definitely see myself picking this up when it releases.
Thank you to EA for always keeping Gaming Precision in the loop!
