Daylight, Wolfenstein, TowerFall, Strike Suit Zero, Ryse DLC Release Dates
Daylight has been given a release date, arriving on the PS4 and PC this Spring. It will be out on those two platforms on April 8 for $14.99. This procedurally generated horror, being developed by Zombie Studios, will be the first horror game to use the new Unreal Engine 4 and hopes to revolutionize the genre. PC players will also have the option to use the Oculus Rift headset with the game.
Wolfenstein: The New Order will be released in North America May 20, Australia May 22, and Europe May 23. This Bethesda-developed shooter will be out for the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. Buyers of the game will also be given access to a beta for Doom 4, which has recently been retitled as simply Doom.
TowerFall Ascension is releasing for the PS4 on Mar 11 in North America, with no information yet on release in other territories. A re-working of the popular Ouya game TowerFall, it will include 50 new arenas, new power-ups, and a Quest Mode to allow gamers to work toward a common goal together.
Strike Suit Zero: Director’s Cut is coming to the PS4 and Xbox One in March. The game was originally released for the PC last year; this Director’s Cut will include updated graphics, a reconstructed campaign, and all DLC that has since been released for the game. After its release for consoles, the Director’s Cut version of the game will eventually be made available for the PC as well.
Ryse: Son of Rome is getting new DLC called Mars’ Chosen Pack, most likely referring to the Roman God. It will be out on February 28. This DLC will include two-player co-op survival mode, four new maps, one reworked map, and a new skin.
