Batman Blackgate

Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate, the 2.5 D game for PS Vita and 3DS, may be coming to XBLA. A recent listing on the XBLA marketplace appeared and was taken down that indicated that the game should come out on March 25. This new version of the game promises: “Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate – Deluxe Edition amplifies the 2.5-D game with new maps, enemy encounters, difficulty levels, batsuits, and enhanced visuals.” Also included are some online features such as leaderboards. A NeoGAF user was able to save the images before the listing got taken down.

The original game for the PS Vita and 3DS was released in October 25, 2013. The game didn’t do well critically with the PS Vita version getting 61 on Metacritic and the 3DS version getting 68 out of 100. Many reviewers have criticized the design of areas being too dark and the need to needlessly revisit areas, which makes the game far more boring.
