Persona Announcements from Atlus

Posted December 3, 2013 by Felisha "Nightingale" Silva in News

Some awesome news came about this past weekend for all of the Persona fans out there. This past weekend Atlus, the company behind the Persona series, revealed that not one, but four Persona titles are in the works.

First off, they announced that Persona 5 is actually going to happen, and will release sometime late 2014 in Japan. Persona 4 was released for the PlayStation 2 back in 2008, meaning that it will be a six year gap between the two games. The game will be exclusively for the PlayStation 3.

We can even expect a Persona title for the Nintendo 3DS. Though not much is known about the 3DS title at the moment, all we do know is its title: Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth, and that it is due out in Japan on June 5th of 2014.

Anyone remember the Persona fighting game, Persona 4 Arena? We can expect a sequel in the works for that game as well. The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold, (Yes, that is the game’s name) will be for the PlayStation 3 and is slated to be out sometime next year. With a title like that, one can only imagine how the game will turn out.

And last but not least, we can look forward to a new Persona 4 game for the PlayStation Vita. With the title Persona 4: Dancing All Night, one can clearly assume that this will be no ordinary Persona game. In this game, it’s all about rhythm and dancing. You can expect this title out for the PlayStation Vita sometime in the fall of next year.
