Lego Hobbit

There is nothing more satisfying than a Lego game in your favorite geek theme! The next gen consoles managed to get their first taste of Lego greatness in Marvel Super Heroes. Now, there is one game to rule them all (ok, not really but it sounds epic, right?). Warner Brothers Entertainment has recently confirmed that the next great Lego game will be The Hobbit!

Currently receiving live action movie treatment in the form of a trilogy, The Hobbit is the epic tale, written by J.R.R. Tolkein of course, of Bilbo Baggins and his legendary fantasy tale discovering the One Ring and helping defeat the great wrym Smaug. This Lego game, however, will only feature events encountered in the first two Hobbit movies entitled An Unexpected Journey and the Desolation of Smaug. The third movie, There And Back Again, will not be released until December 2014. The Lego game, however, is set for release in Spring 2014.

Lego The Hobbit will be released on 3DS, PS Vita, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC and Mac.
