DICE Halts Everything To Solve Battlefield 4 Stability Issues

BF4 help

Battlefield 4 is an impressive and gorgeous military shooter that shows off DICE’s brand new flashy game engine called Frostbite 3. Unfortunately, ever since the game’s release on PCs, current gen, and next gen consoles, Battlefield 4 has been a crashing, laggy mess all around. A few patches have been released since that point that have fixed some bugs and slightly improved stability of the servers but work is far from being done. As a result, Electronic Arts has announced the following:

“[We are] not moving onto future projects or expansions until we sort out all the issues with Battlefield 4. We know we still have a ways to go with fixing the game – it is absolutely our #1 priority. The team at DICE is working non-stop to update the game.”

“We know many of our players are frustrated, and we feel your pain. We will not stop until this is right.”

This statement is particularly startling considering that the future projects that DICE was working on includes Star Wars Battlefront and Mirror’s Edge 2. Here’s to hoping they get the job done soon.
