Dead Rising 3 DLC Details

Posted December 20, 2013 by Kat in News

Capcom has released the first details regarding the new upcoming DLC for Dead Rising 3.  Titled Operation Broken Eagle, the DLC will serve as the first episode in the Untold Stories of Los Perdidos, taking on the role of Spec Ops Commander Adam Kane and tasked with retrieving the missing President of the United States.

In addition, other new content will include a new mission, five new weapons, one new weapon combo, one new vehicle, and one new clothing outfit, as well as additional Gamerscore.

Capcom will also be making a timed demo available, allowing a player to explore Ingleton for 20 minutes (2 times per Gamertag) providing for a nice little taste of the game.

Operation Broken Eagle was originally planned for release on Dec 24, but Capcom has since pushed it back to Jan 21, 2014.  In a statement to IGN, they explained, “Adding new content to the massive open world of Los Perdidos is a major undertaking, and to ensure we provide the best possible experience for players, we are putting a few additional weeks of polish and testing into the episode before it’s released. Stay tuned for additional updates.”  Pricing for the DLC is not yet known.
