What better way to finish up the month of October then with news concerning the beloved game, The Walking Dead. A game that once started out as an indie game created by Telltale Games has now become a popular series that has not only become playable on the Xbox 360, but has spread to the PlayStation 3, the PlayStation Vita, Mac, and the PC. Telltale Games had finished up the last episode of the beloved first season of The Walking Dead November of 2012 after the release of the first episode in April 2012. Fans had craved more of the series and Telltale listened and release a DLC that was available earlier this year called 400 Days. Telltale Games, however, is not finished with the graphic adventure just yet and has released news on the second season set to be released later on this year.

With the end of the first season and the conclusion of the DLC, 400 Days, leaving many open endings for a new story, Telltale Games has released information concerning the second season. Season two will be featuring Clementine, continuing her story from where the first season had left off and Clementine will also be a playable character this time around. Season two’s story will be featured around Clementine and will involve moral issues and making unforgettable choices that will impact the outcome of the story and how it plays through. The second season will also be released for the Xbox, PlayStation 3, PC, Mac, and other platform releases will soon to follow. Season two will consist of five episodes that will be released through 2014. A season pass that will include all five episodes of season two is currently up for pre-order on Steam for $22.49, saving customers a 10% discount.

Fans can also relive the Walking Dead first season experience after Telltale released news that a Game of the Year addition that will include all five episodes and the DLC, 400 Days, will be set for release soon for $29.99 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

With all the news concerning the Walking Dead and the release of the second season soon to be out later this year, fans can only hope that the second season will be as intense as the first.
