I wrote an article just the other day detailing a new Wii U bundle from Nintendo, that one being a New Super Mario Bros. U themed bundle. Well, Nintendo has just announced yet another themed bundle coming just in time for the holiday season. This latest one being a Skylanders Swap Force Wii U bundle.

In the Skylanders Swap Force bundle you will get the 8GB Basic Wii U system, a Skylanders Swap Force Starter pack, including the Portal of Power, the game, and three Skylanders figures, and a copy of Nintendo Land. The bundle will be priced at $299.99, just like all of the other bundles.

The new Skylanders game, Skylanders Swap Force, you have access to a total of 16 characters, each of which you can mix and match the bottom and top pieces, allowing for more than 250 combinations, for creating all new custom characters. The game was released for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, Nintendo 3DS, and the Wii U. All of the figures from the previous Skylanders games, original and Giants, are compatible with Skylanders Swap Force. But the neat thing about having it for the Wii U is that you will be able to do off-screen play with the game, doing everything with the Wii U GamePad all by itself.

This is now three bundles all together that Nintendo is offering up for this holiday season. We have The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD bundle, which came out back on September 20th, the New Super Mario Bros. U bundle, due out on November 1st, and now Skylanders Swap Force, which will grace us with its presence on November 15th. Both The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD bundle and the New Super Mario Bros. U bundle will include the 32GB Wii U system, whereas the Skylanders bundle will have the 8GB Basic system, which was discontinued by Nintendo back in September.
