GTA Online has had a rocky start, but with launch day issues out of the way, Rockstar promised a $500,000 stimulus package in 2 installments with the first one due to hit early this week. Obviously we don’t have some extra cash in our bank accounts to spend on cool stuff. Rockstar has announced that it will hold of on the big payday for the GTA faithful: “We know many of you are anxiously waiting for us to show you the GTA$ Stimulus Package money we announced a couple weeks back. As mentioned in that post, we of course want to ensure that game progress loss issues are sufficiently sorted before distributing the GTA$ to everyone. We have a few more tweaks and fixes to make in a new title update that will hit sometime next week and then we will distribute the cash.”

Rockstar’s online game has been out for almost a month and, though it had a rocky start, it has allowed players to run around in Los Santos and Blaine Country along with 15 others. The game offers a crazy fun place to screw around with your friends, crewmates or just plain old strangers. There is a lot to do outside the freemode – survivals, missions, deathmatches, races and more, but after some time playing the game players will find that the content available won’t satisfy them for long. However owners of GTA V can expect incoming free DLC content for GTA Online, that will bring a beach pack full of various activities, as well as content creators, that will allow gamers to create their own deathmatches and races. This new content is scheduled to hit GTA Online in early November.

GTA V was released on September 17th and took the world by storm. It is the second highest rated video games of all time at 97 out of 100 – after GTA IV, which stands at 98.
