Batman Arkham Origins Gets Season Pass

Posted October 2, 2013 by Claire in News

Fans of the ever popular Batman: Arkham series are in for a real treat after news announcing new features for the upcoming Batman: Arkham Origins was announced last week. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced plans for a season pass for the upcoming Batman title. This season pass will be available for $20 and will allow for five new downloadable content features that only the pass can give you for a much better price. With many new features and content, this will allow players to further expand gameplay when the play the game for the first time upon release.

Features of this pass will not only include new skins to use during gameplay, but will also feature a new mode and an additional story campaign set for the Arkham Origins game. Skins included in the season pass include the Infinite Earth skins pack and the New Millennium skins pack.  The new mode that has been added to the game with the purchase of the season pass is called the Initiation mode. In this brand new added mode, players will be able to perform missions as a young Bruce Wayne before his step into the limelight as Batman. This gives player the opportunity to see Bruce before he became Batman and how he had to prove himself to his teacher, Kirigi. Details on the added on story campaign for the game are still in the works and no new information has been released as of yet, but details will be announced here. Players will also have the opportunity to play in a multiplayer mode that however, will not be included in the Wii U version of the game.

Batman: Arkham Origins is set for release on October 25, 2013 for the Wii U, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and the PC. With all these new features, I am looking forward to Arkham Origins. I enjoyed the other two Arkham games in the series so I cannot wait for this. What do you think of the features included in the season pass? Let me know below!
