Fans of the hit comedic and crazy show South Park are in for another adventure, but this time set for your gaming consoles. Announced earlier this year was a brand new South Park game in  development by Obsidian Entertainment, the developers who brought us Fallout: New Vegas and Star Wars: The Old Republic II. Ubisoft, the current publisher of the game has announced at E3 that the game, called South Park: The Stick of Truth was to be set for release by the end of 2013 sometime during the holiday season. However, a release date had not been confirmed until recently.

Ubisoft announced recently that South Park: The Stick of Truth is set for release on December 10, 2013 in North America and will release in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand two days later on December 12, 2013. Ubisoft also announced that special bonuses are available with preorders and will include the special Ultimate Fellowship pack. The Ultimate Fellowship pack is a pack of costumes that players can choose from that have added abilities including a Necromancer costume that deals extra fire damage, a Rogue Assassin costume that enables extra gold to be earned, a Holy Defender costume that raises defense and a Range Elf costume that deals extra damage from weapons. Another special preorder available is the Grand Wizard collector’s edition that includes a South Park map, the Ultimate Fellowship bonus costumes pack, and 6 inch Cartman Grand Wizard figurine. This current collector’s edition is available for $79.99 and will be available until release for preorder. South Park: The Stick of Truth is available for preorder for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and the PC.

With the updates about the preorders for this new South Park game and a release date announced, are you excited for this game? Do you plan to get a Collector’s Edition or get a normal copy of the game? Let me know! I can tell you that I think the Cartman figure does look really cool.
